Soundtrack Q & A
Q: Was there background music by American composer Aaron Copland played in the movie, either "Appalachian Spring" or "Fanfare for the Common Man"? (from Paul Moore in Anchorage, Alaska)
A: Yes, absolutely. During the scene where God shows Evan the original landscape of his development, the soundtrack composer borrows chords from Copland's "Appalachian Spring." (thanks to Em, MAadd more info

Q: What is the instrumental song playing over the credits? It doesn't seem to be on the soundtrack CD. Thanks.
...from Pat Dougherty in Seiling, Oklahoma (answer Pat Dougherty's question)

Q: Who sings "One Love" during the restaurant scene? It sounds like Jo Dee Messina to me but my friend says it isn't. There are 3 CDs connected with this movie and the only other cut of "One Love" I find is the original by Bob Marley. Please help us solve our disagreement.
...from Sam in CT (answer Sam's question)

Q: According to the credits, the version of Revolution in the movie was by Rascal Flatts. They do not appear on any version of the soundtrack that I have found. Does that version exist for sale?
...from Lynn in Snellville, Georgia USA (answer Lynn's question)

Q: I recently heard Rascal Flatts sing REVOLUTION on Dancing with the Stars. I went looking for a recording of this song as I personally liked it much better than the Beatles version. I found it on YouTube, and also found the Blue County version on the Evan Almighty soundtrack and they are exactly the same!!!! Also, Rascal Flatts' website says they recorded it for the movie. So why the Blue County credit?? A band no one has ever heard of????
...from lynne in Maine (answer lynne's question)
