Trivia
One excellent track that did not make it to the film's soundtrack is Steve Vai's "Love Blood". It's an eerie hard rock piece with clever lyrics, great vocals, and scorching guitar work. The guitar solo is worth the purchase of the track, alone. Overall, it's a fun song and has a Halloween-esque, macabre vibe -- similar in spirit and in the same vein as Oingo Boingo's "Dead Man's Party". If you're into vampires, great guitar work, Halloween songs, Steve Vai, or hard rock in general, you'll probably enjoy this song very much.

The track is available on Steve Vai's 2001 album "The Elusive Light and Sound".

Speaking of the album and this track, Vai stated in an interview on his web site: "It also has "Love Blood", an intense rock track I recorded for Interview with the Vampire (but it never made it to the film) - it's one of my best solos of that whole era."
