Trivia
Director Malcolm D. Lee states on the DVD's audio commentary that his use of the song "Beat It" by Michael Jackson was better in context to his film, compared to its use in Ben Stiller's Zoolander (released 8 months prior to Undercover Brother). In both films, the main character is challenged to some sort of showdown by his antagonist throughout the film.

"It really exemplifies what this movie's about. You know - 'black or white,' and you know, you're fighting and 'no one wants to be defeated' and it just works. Lyrically and musically ... You know, they used it in Zoolander and we knew that, but you know what? We were like, 'Forget it. I don't care. Ben Stiller, whoever you... we're gonna use it too.' It works better in our movie anyway. No disrespect, Ben, but this is how we feel."
