| The director's cut changes the order of music. As Donnie rides into town the music has changed from Echo and the Bunnymen's "The Killing Moon" to INXS's "Never Tear Us Apart." "Killing Moon" still plays later in the director's cut. "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is also moved. |
|
| Richard Kelly's original choice for the music to be played over the final sequence was U2's "MLK." After difficulties obtaining the rights to the song, it was decided to use Gary Jules' cover of the Tears for Fears song "Mad World" instead. |

Q: | I have been looking for the CLASSICAL OPERA piece heard in the end credits for quite some time. I also noticed on this website the same question was asked by someone else. Their question was answered with the reply of "Whom the Bell Tolls." That is more of a energetic/ could be low key piece, but I am positive the person is looking for the same piece that I am looking for. It sounds very deep and emotional, and it has a low to high pitched female voice. It is actually quite powerful. It starts playing right after "Mad World" during the end credits. It is not on the soundtrack. I have looked everywhere and it is impossible to find. Can someone help me out here? Thanks :) (from Naomi in Hawaii) |
