Q: | What's the song playing when Angelina Jolie asks Matt Damon for the dance? I think it is a Frank Sinatra song, but not sure. Is that song on the soundtrack CD? (from al in kenosha, wi) |
A: | I think the track you are referring to is track 9 on this soundtrack CD, called "Embraceable You." And yes it is by Frank Sinatra. (thanks to Mitch, Brisbane, Australia) add more info |
A: | It is not quite correct, I think to say that the song "Embraceable You" (which is indeed the name of the song at issue is "by" Frank Sinatra. It was written by George Gershwin in the 1930s and many many singers recorded it before Mr. Sinatra did (and many have recorded it since). It is a "standard" and in my opinion Frank Sinatra's recording is not the best of them (but that is only my opinion. (thanks to TAS, New York, NY) add more info |
