Soundtrack Q & A
Q: Does the soundtrack include the throat singing, especially the song that played during the closing credits, or is it just the classical-type music? (from Bradley in Denver, Colorado USA)
A: It includes a lot of throat singing and other ethnic and Mongolian elements, less classical-type music actually. (thanks to Henry, Los Angeles, CA, USadd more info
A: It does include throat singing. Magnificent. They sound like the Tuvan group, Huun Huur Tu, but I would like to know for sure. Is it? (thanks to Sue, Harwinton, CTadd more info
A: You can find in the soundtrack the original music composed by Tuomas Kantelinen (from Finland). And also you have additional music played by ALTAN URAG a folk rock mongol band, that mix etnic music with modern concepts. This group is extraordinary. You can check their site: www.altanurag.mn / www.altanurag.com (thanks to FERNANDO BRENNER, Buenos Aires, Argentinaadd more info

Q: Where can I find the music over the credits at the end of the film? I don't think it's included in the soundtrack. (from debbie in philadelphia)
A: I found this comment by FFN at Amazon.com's page for this CD:
"I figured out that the USA version is missing several tracks from Altan Urag. I bought the CD for the ending credit song, called Blue Mark, but it is not on the USA version. The international version of the soundtrack is available on international versions of Amazon, but alas not here. Note that there are several versions of Blue Mark. The one from the movie is only available on the international version of the soundtrack -- the version on Altan Urag's CDs is slowed down." (thanks to Magpie, Minneapolis, MNadd more info
