Soundtrack Q & A
Q: Anyone know the name of the song used in the trailer? I don't think it is part of the sound track (the trailer came on the Windows 95 CD back in the day). (from Clive in Ontario, Canada)
A: Clive you might be wondering about music from Come See The Paradise called "Fire in a Brooklyn Theater." It was used in this trailer and in many many others. (thanks to OSTfan, Burlingameadd more info

Q: There's another song in the trailer I haven't been able to locate yet: the piano motif for the love scenes at the beginning and ending of the trailer. Several websites claim it is "Lily And Mini" (also from the "Come See The Paradise" soundtrack) but it obviously is a completely different song. I have uploaded samples from the Rob Roy trailer (audio only) and "Lily And Mini" (3.14 MB - 2 low quality MP3 files inside the archive). Can anyone identify the piano piece? (from mahi in Belgium)
A: The song is especially made for the trailer by Starr Parodi and Jeff Eden Fair. (thanks to rogue, Sevilla, Spainadd more info

Q: What's the instrumental music playing when the credits roll? (from Larry in Sarasota, florida U.S.)
A: Trying to find that out myself! I think it's "Born by Rapids" by Carter Burwell (thanks to SteveQ, Saco Maineadd more info

Q: What song is playing in the scene where Tim Roth kills Eric Stoltz? And who sings it? (from Magie in gso, n)
A: It's a traditional Scottish song called 'Ailein Duinn' (dark-haired alan). It's sung in gaelic, and performed in the movie I think by Capercaille. (thanks to Ali G, Londonadd more info
