Q: | I've been going through the film with a fine tooth comb, playing and replaying sections where lyrics are decipherable then Googling them, and the following are not on the soundtrack nor mentioned in the Q&A section of this page (which I've found quite useful):
· Gary Puckett and the Union Gap - "Young Girl"
(Graysmith wanders past the hack bar on his way home, envious of Avery et al.'s goodtime antics)
· Jerry and the Pacemakers - "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying"
(Tosci & Armstrong head to the dead cabbie crime scene)
· Tommy James and the Shondells - "Crystal Blue Persuasion"
(Avery has been converted to the way of the effeminate-appearing sea blue cocktail)
· Perry Como - "No Christmas Like a Home Christmas"
(Belli the Stones lawyer shows off his serial killer letter)
Director's Cut only - the fade-to-black, years-pass audio montage:
· America - "Horse With No Name"
· (Funk over the Manson bit - not sure about this)
· Janis Ian - "At Seventeen"
· Bachman-Turner Overdrive - "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet"
· (Not sure about this one, either)
· Ohio Players - "Love Rollercoaster"
And that's it. What I'd really appreciate help with is the music in (1) the restaurant scene, in a non-English language, (2) the BLT scene, (3) the interview with - I think - Allen's sister-in-law, where she says his brief psychiatrist said he was capable of murder, and (3) of course all the bits I couldn't identify above. Cheers if so! ...from Solid Snail in Wales (answer Solid Snail's question) |
